The South Korean government has resumed a discount program aimed at encouraging people to "dine out" while in the safety of their homes amid the ongoing pandemic.
Starting Monday, people who order food through any one of 14 participating food delivery apps, including Baedal Minjok, Yogiyo, Payco and Coupang Eats, and pay with a credit card may be eligible to get back 10,000 won.
In order to get the rebate, four separate orders of over 20,000 won each must be paid on the delivery apps with any credit card issued by nine card companies -- KB Kookmin, NH Nonghyup, Lotte, BC, Samsung, Shinhan, Woori, KEB Hana and Hyundai.
Customers must first make sure they are subscribed to the cash back program through their credit card company.
