France will move back onto the list of amber countries from which fully vaccinated travelers do not have to quarantine.
Seven countries, including Austria and Germany, are moved onto the green list, meaning passengers do not need to isolate on return even if they are unvaccinated.
India is one of four countries being removed from the red list so arrivals will no longer have to stay at a quarantine hotel.
Spain remains on the amber list but people returning from there are now advised to take a PCR test rather than a cheaper lateral flow test.
