South Korea has decided to send to Lebanon one million dollars in emergency humanitarian aid to help the country recover from Tuesday's massive explosion at a Beirut port.

Seoul's foreign ministry said Friday it hopes the support will help residents quickly return to life before the blast.

The accident killed over 130 people and injured thousands of others.

No Korean nationals were among the casualties.
