Major highways in Seoul closed due to flooding reopened Friday after Han River water levels dropped overnight.

Local police said restrictions have been lifted on sections of the North Riverside Gangbyun Highway, from the Hangang Bridge to the Mapo Bridge, allowing for traffic in both directions.

All sections of the Dongbu Highway and the Inner-City Naebu Beltway have also reopened.

But the Olympic Highway, from the Yeomchang Interchange to the Banpo Bridge, remains blocked off in both directions.

The Jamsu Bridge is also closed for the sixth straight day.
