Late-night subway services in Seoul, which ran on a 20 percent reduced schedule after 10 p.m. since the summer to prevent the spread of COVID-19, normalized on Monday.
The move comes as the country prepares to shift to a new strategy that involves living with the coronavirus amid decreased transmissions and increased vaccinations.
Subways services were cut in the capital on July 9 as the country began battling a fourth wave of infections.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government said Line 2 and Lines 5-9 will run on a normal schedule.
City and maeul buses will also go back to their late-night schedules.
Line 3 and 4 subways will resume full services from December 1.
