Downpours are forecast to continue pounding the central region on Thursday.
The Korea Meteorological Administration says parts of Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon and the Jeolla provinces could get up to 50 millimeters of precipitation per hour, accompanied by strong winds, thunder and lightning.
Rain in the capital should taper in the afternoon and other regions during the evening hours.
After a lull on Friday, showers are expected to return on Saturday.
