As two approved coronavirus vaccines are being rolled out across South Korea, government officials remind that shots are first being administered to frontline health care workers and other high-risk people under the age of 65.
The Central Disaster Management Headquarters says those who are eligible to get vaccinated will be contacted by text message informing them of the date and place where they will receive the vaccine, confirmation of their appointment.
A few days after getting the first dose of the full two-dose regimen of the AstraZeneca or Pfizer vaccines that are currently being provided, recipients will be contacted to set up an appointment for their booster shot.
