Park Hee-Jun Qualifies For Karate Event At Tokyo Olympics

Karate practitioner Park Hee-jun has become the first South Korean to book a spot in the sport at the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
According to the Korea Karate Federation, Park qualified for the Games after winning a bronze medal in male kata in a tournament in Paris on Saturday.
Kata is a non-sparring event in which practitioners demonstrate the Japanese martial art's patterns and movements.
Karate will make its debut at the Tokyo Summer Olympics.
