The Jamsu Bridge in Seoul remains blocked off to vehicle traffic and pedestrians for a third consecutive day due to rising water levels of the Han River.

Flood control authorities on Wednesday said the water level at the bridge hit 7.63 meters as of 1:40 p.m.

The Seoul city government blocks off the bridge to pedestrians when the river rises above 5.5 meters.

Vehicles are restricted when the water reaches 6.2 meters.

Due to the rain and flooding, on and off-ramps along the Olympic Highway in Yeouido also remain closed.
