The changing of the royal guard re-enactment ceremonies held at Deoksugung Palace in Seoul are resuming Tuesday after being suspended for nearly nine months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said the ceremonies will take place three times a day at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

But the number of viewers allowed to watch will be capped at 100 as a precautionary measure.

Launched in 1996, the guard chaning ceremonies were stopped on February 1, as the new coronavirus was to spread in the country and around the world.
