The Korea Meteorological Administration has forecast bone-chilling conditions on Saturday.

Temperatures are expected to drop well below the freezing point during the early morning hours.

The low is expected to dip to minus 4 degrees Celsius in the capital, but it will feel more like minus 8 degrees Celsius due to the wind chill.

Subzero temperatures will also grip most other regions early in the day.

Conditions will warm up slightly in the afternoon, with highs hovering in the mid to high single digits.

Similar weather will continue into next week.
