Choi Sung-won Wins Billiard World Championship, First For Korean

Choi Sung-won came from behind to win the UMB World Three-cushion Championship, a first for a Korean billiard player.

During a match at Seoul's Jamsil Sports Complex yesterday, Choi beat Torbjorn Blomdahl 40-37 in the 20th inning after trailing for the entire match.

The win gave Choi 120 points, upgrading his world ranking to third. ■
