Two-time major champion Ryu So-yeon closed with an even-par 72 Sunday to win the Korea Women's Open at the Bear's Best CheongNa Golf Club in Incheon.

It marked Ryu's first victory since the Japan Women's Open in 2018, and her first top prize on the Korea LPGA since 2015.

Upon winning the tournament, she offered her entire prize money of just over 200,000 dollars for coronavirus relief funds.

Kim Hyo-joo, another regular on the LPGA Tour, finished runner-up with an 11-under-par 277.

Several LPGA Tour players from South Korea have been playing their home circuit since it returned five weeks ago.

The LPGA Tour is not scheduled to resume until July 31 at Inverness in Ohio.
